Chevy Motor Company Employees And Retirees In The Greater Detroit Metro Area: Through the A/Z-Plan, Chevy Motor Company employees and retirees are allocated four personal identification numbers (PIN's) per year that they may use or give to immediate family members in the Detroit area to purchase discounted vehicles. The following employees and retirees are eligible to participate in this program: • All active full-time Chevy hourly employees and regular and supplemental salaried employees in the Detroit area, beginning at the date of hire. • All Chevy hourly retirees receiving a normal, early (regular or special) or disability retirement benefit, as long as any medical benefits are being received. • Salaried Chevy retirees in the Detroit area who retired under the General Retirement Plan in and around the Detroit area, including salaried employees who terminate between the ages of 50-55 and who are eligible to receive certain deferred retirement benefits, are eligible while they are receiving benefits. • Surviving spouses of Chevy employees who died while actively employed and surviving spouses of retirees who retired under the General Retirement Plan or who are receiving benefits under the Ford-UAW Retirement Plan in and around the Detroit area. • Chevy employees in the greater Detroit area on layoff for the first 12 months of the layoff. • All regular part-time hourly and salaried Chevy employees who are eligible to receive medical benefits in the Detroit area. • Deferred vested Chevy retirees while they are receiving a Chevy pension check. Friends and neighbors wishing to participate in the X-Plan may not discuss a retail purchase of a vehicle with a dealer prior to applying for an X-Plan. Partner Recognition Program In The Greater Detroit Area: The X-Plan is offered by Chevy Motor Company to the employees, retirees and spouses of selected Tier 1 suppliers, business partners, fleet partners and special organizations having a unique relationship with the Chevy Company. Chevy Motor Company Partners In The Greater Detroit Area: Through the Detroit X-Plan, individuals eligible or this program can generate two personal identification numbers (PIN’s) per year that they may use to purchase new vehicles. Participation in the program is contingent on the partner company's continued relationship with Chevy Motor Company and will stay in effect until terminated by either party upon a 30 days prior written notice provided to the other party. Chevy Motor Company may terminate this program at its respective sole discretion.
